Chuluota Family Fun Day

Mommy has been running out of time each day to write about our busy week, so she is going to play catch up these next few days!

Last weekend, the cub scouts sponsored Chuluota Family Fun Day at the VFW right down the street. So me, Thomas, Rianne, Mommy, Daddy, Mary, and Papa all walked down there to have some fun.

Rianne and Thomas had a great time going down the huge inflatable slide and jumping around in the bounce house. Because Mommy is little, she was able to ride with me down the slide and jump around with me in the bounce house. I wasn't impressed, so Mommy is glad she didn't spend the money on one for my birthday!

There was even cotton candy, and because it wasn't a rainy day, it was much fluffier than the cotton candy at my circus party! It was bigger than our heads, and Mommy said it was oh so yummy.

You might notice that I am not in these pictures. I wasn't in the best mood. The grown-ups kept talking about what a beautiful day it was. I sure didn't think so! The sun was bright and hot, and then every time a breeze came through I had a hard time breathing. To say I was very upset is a bit of an understatement! Daddy had to skip Family Fun Day and take me back home, so Mommy could stay with Rianne. Oh well. At least it was just three streets away, so we got home quickly! Daddy told Mommy that I was happy as a clam as soon as we walked in the front door. And I was! I got to play in my air-conditioned room!

Later, once the sun started going away, we went outside to my swingset and played together. That was a lot of fun, and much better for my sensitive little eyes. It was a busy day, but lots of fun!

Looks to me like your bedroom would be much more fun too. I think they should schedule a "family fun day" at your house. I know mommy and daddy would love that. :)
