Trying to Stay Cool

Thanks to stinky old Tropical Storm Fay, our air conditioning doesn't work anymore! It is sooooo hot in here! Uncle Shawn let us borrow his window unit to help a little, but it's still pretty miserable. Once I fell asleep in my bed last night, Mommy and Daddy picked up my mattress and carried me through the house into the playroom area, since that was closer to the window unit. It was pretty funny waking up in my playroom!

Mommy says she doesn't know how people do it without central A/C, because it feels like we need a window unit in every room. Papa put a second one in today in the living room, and that helps in that room now, but it's still stuffy in here. I was definitely happy to go to school today, and this is not a great start to a long weekend. The only good thing about all this is Mommy says I have don't have to wear clothes at home!
