No Longer Just "Learning"

Mommy says I am officially walking, not just learning to walk. Thursday night, during my grandma's birthday dinner, I practiced my walking for almost two hours. I didn't stop to play or visit with anyone, I just kept walking back and forth from one object to another. And then...I left the room. And Mommy was shocked! So she got up to follow me and I walked from my living room to my playroom! That's complete opposite sides of the house, and I have to make the S turns through the kitchen too! I never stopped to grab on to anything, I just kept walking! Three times I did it, back and forth. Mommy and Daddy were still talking about it after I went to bed. They looked like they had coat hangers in their mouths because they couldn't stop smiling.

And still I keep practicing. Mommy hasn't had to clean my room for two days because I'm not playing with the toys. I'm just walking around! She tried to get some video of me walking through the house, but I wouldn't fully cooperate. I really just wanted to be held. =)
